Who am I?
I am a man from Tenerife. I am 33 years old, single, and a cook. What I like most is to spark happiness in people. To draw a smile.
Why am I interested in tourism?
I think it is an interesting and relevant topic. It is necessary that it continues to exist, it creates many jobs. Actually, it is the formula that has been badly done, that is to say, we have destroyed places to sell beach umbrellas and we could have achieved a better quality tourism without destroying our land. Balance, sustainability, is the key to our future.
Dear favourite person,
I wish I didn’t have to send you a letter, I wish you were here, after all, you are my favourite person haha. Remember when we dreamed of being able to go on that long awaited holiday? After so much struggle, we finally can.
Remember when we were on the streets fighting for our labour rights? All that struggle was good for something. We now have 3 days off, a decent minimum wage to live on and rents are controlled by the State. Prohibitions to build in natural areas and to play with the value of the land of all Canarians. It was very hard, many people died, but at last we woke up, you did as well.
But I know that you see me from heaven with a smile on your face. What do we have to reach? What is the value of people, of feelings? Of what surrounds us? What do we have to reach?

Wishes and hopes behind the image of the future:

we respect the environment, we take care of the workers and we select the type of tourism that visits us.

let the law be the law for all, and not just for some.

start a revolution. The establishment is rotten from the inside.
