We asked, you answered.

How would you describe yourself?

68 year old pensioner with house and garden, Austrian, single, living in the countryside, I travelled a lot

Imagine you are 72, 80 or even 99 years old: How and with whom do you live together?

I live with friends in a shared house that allows for individual retreats and has a large garden. We get the help we need and pay for it together. In winter, we spend 2 to 3 months in the south.

Who are the most important people in your life and how do you spend time with them?

Family and friends, sharing is important as well as doing things together, like visiting exhibitions, listening to music, volunteering for the community or participating in community life.

What is your sex and love life like in the future?

Who knows what is to come.

How do you manage to stay mentally and physically fit?

I have a personal trainer (robot, AI) with which I do exercise and cook healthy food. I am also very curious and keep myself mentally fit with yoga, special computer games and debates.

How do you afford everyday life in the future?

With my pension and by sharing fixed costs and things with others.

In the future, what do you get up for in the morning?

For life itself, my friends, my garden

If you had to tell a young friend about all the things you’ve done right while ageing and would thus recommend to them… What would they be?

Have no regrets – At the time of taking the decision, you chose what was best for you. Commit yourself and fight for your convictions. Stay curious and try to put yourself in the other person’s shoes before you pass judgement. Stay in touch with nature and everything that surrounds you: you are part of it.
