In my desirable future, “the most important thing is to be happy; the feeling of wanting to get up in the morning and to feel fulfilled with what you are doing. To live as honestly as possible and without anyone being able to blame you for anything.”

We asked, you answered.
How would you describe yourself?
Female, 22 years old, B.A. in Fine Arts, 3D and Space Design
Imagine you are 72, 80 or even 99 years old: How and with whom do you live together?
With my family (I hope to have a partner, but if I don’t I wouldn’t care that much) and my close friends living in a communal house on a green field.
Who are the most important people in your life and how do you spend time with them?
My closest friends which I know from my career in the arts and some members of my family, if I have any.
What is your sex and love life like in the future?
If I have a partner, with them. If they agree, I could have an open sexual relationship. If I am alone, I will use devices or fully consensual sporadic sexual encounters, never resorting to prostitution, which I hope will be abolished.
How do you manage to stay mentally and physically fit?
I hope to continue pursuing artistic projects that keep my mind active. I would have an orchard and a garden to take care of, as I would like to live on a plot of land in the countryside. Perhaps I would also want to have an artistic residency for new generations of artists.
How do you afford everyday life in the future?
Retirement and pension plan. I will continue to sell my work and give talks, workshops and lectures.
In the future, what do you get up for in the morning?
To be surrounded by my loved ones and to dedicate myself to what I am passionate about, which is art and plants.
If you had to tell a young friend about all the things you’ve done right while ageing and would thus recommend to them… What would they be?
The most important thing is to be happy; the feeling of wanting to get up in the morning and to feel fulfilled with what you are doing. To live as honestly as possible and without anyone being able to blame you for anything.

My recommendation: "...invest time in becoming the best version of yourself, and pursue everything that nourishes and fulfils you mentally, physically and emotionally". #SmoothPaceOfLife #EveryDayIsSunday…
